Another alternative is to have an appraisal performed. A full appraisal can be expensive, but a good alternative is a low cost certified desktop appraisal. I know a company (Bedrock Appraisal) that can provide that service for only $50 and it is accepted by all Wasatch Front counties for tax appeals.
